Lead details your receptionist collects
Every lead comes with the caller’s name, number and a summary. If your trade needs something more before you can quote or turn up, tell your receptionist to ask for it.
Go to Settings, then Lead details.
Adding a detail
Section titled “Adding a detail”- Tap + Add a detail.
- Under What to ask for, name it the way you’d say it: “vehicle registration”, “boiler make and model”, “postcode of the property”.
- Add an optional note for your receptionist, for example when to ask, or what to do if the caller doesn’t know. A note can be up to 400 characters, and a count appears as you get close.
- Tap Done, then Save changes at the top.
You can add up to three. Once you have, the button reads All three added. Edit or remove any of them whenever you like, with Undo if you change your mind.
How your receptionist uses them
Section titled “How your receptionist uses them”Your receptionist works these questions in one at a time while it takes the caller’s details. It’s best effort by design: it skips a question that clearly doesn’t fit the call, and a missing answer never stops it taking the lead. If a caller only knows part of an answer, say the first half of a postcode, it takes that part and moves on rather than asking again.
Where the answers go
Section titled “Where the answers go”Answers appear on the lead in your Inbox and on the call in your history, under Details, so a “boiler make and model” is there before you pick up the phone.
