Adding your common questions

Common questions are the answers your receptionist gives word for word, the ones callers actually ask: your prices, your area, whether you do free quotes, your call-out times.

  1. Go to Settings, then Common questions.
  2. Tap + Add a question, write the question and the answer, and tap Done.
  3. Tap Edit on any answer to change it in place whenever your details change. Tap Remove to take one out, and Undo on the strip that appears if you change your mind.
  4. Tap the button at the top to save. On your first visit it says Looks right, which also ticks the step off your setup list; after that it says Save changes.

Your receptionist starts answering with a question the moment you save it.

Keep answers short and specific, the way you’d say them on the phone. Cover the questions you’re asked every week first: pricing, areas covered, free quotes, how quickly you can come out, payment methods. Anything you haven’t added, your receptionist takes as a message rather than guessing.

If you built a demo before signing up, the questions your receptionist used in that demo are already here. Read through them once: they came from your website, so they’re a good start, but you know your prices better than your website does.
