How you hear about a new lead

The moment a call ends, Sayora lets you know. Two things happen at once.

You get a text

From "Sayora", within seconds:

New call from [name], [number]. [A short summary of what they wanted.] Your leads: [link]

Anything urgent is flagged with URGENT at the front, so the calls that can't wait stand out.

Your caller gets a thank-you

A friendly text from your business's own name, letting them know you've got their details and you'll be in touch. (Booked appointments skip this, since the booking confirmation already covers it.)

Everything's in your portal

Open the link, or sign in at app.sayora.ai, and the call is waiting in your Inbox: the caller's name, their callback number, a summary, and the full recording and transcript. Tap Mark done once you've followed up, and it clears from the list.

Your plan and pricing

One simple plan, and your first week is on us.

The plan

£49 a month. Unlimited minutes. Your own dedicated UK number.

Your free trial

Your 7-day free trial starts when you add a card at signup. You get full access straight away and your number goes live. On day 6 we send a reminder so nothing catches you out. If Sayora is working for you, there's nothing to do; the plan simply begins when the trial ends.

Managing your plan

Go to Settings, then Billing, and tap Manage my plan to update your card or cancel. You can cancel anytime, and you stay live until the end of the period you've already paid for.

If a payment ever fails, your calls, contacts and settings are kept safe while we help you sort it out.

What your callers hear

Here's the experience a caller gets, start to finish.

The greeting

Your receptionist opens in your business's name, along these lines:

Hi there, thanks for calling [your business]! You're through to [name] the AI assistant. I record my calls, just so you know. What can I help you with?

[name] is the name you choose (it starts as "Sayora"), set in Settings under Name & voice. Every call opens by naming your business, so callers always know they've reached the right place.

Recording

Your receptionist tells every caller the call is recorded, right at the start.

Answering questions

Your receptionist answers from your business details and your common questions, and gives the prices and timeframes you've provided. Anything you haven't covered gets taken down as a message rather than guessed at.

Taking the details

Your receptionist gets the caller's name, confirms the best number to reach them on (usually the one they're calling from), and writes a short summary of what they're after.

Cold sales and time-wasters

Your receptionist screens out cold-sales and spam callers politely and ends those calls, so they never land in your leads. Genuine callers, and anyone who's called before, are always looked after.

Question 4

Testing your forwarding

Accepted Answer

Once you've entered the forwarding code, run the built-in test so you know callers will come through before any real ones do.

Go to Settings, then Call forwarding.
Tap Test your forwarding, then Start the test.
We ring your line. Don't pick up. Let it divert.
When it comes through, you'll see You're live and get a confirming text.

If the test doesn't pass

You'll see a note that the call didn't divert, so forwarding isn't on yet. Some networks take a minute to apply the change, so check the code from How to forward your calls to Sayora and try again.

One less thing to worry about: your receptionist also confirms forwarding automatically from your first real forwarded call. So if a caller reaches you before you get round to testing, you're already set.

Question 5

What Sayora does

Sayora is your AI receptionist. When you can't get to the phone, your receptionist answers in your business's name, takes the caller's details, answers their questions, and texts you the lead before you've even called back.

How it works

You get a dedicated UK number with a local area code.
You forward the calls you miss to it. You keep answering your own phone as normal; only the ones you don't pick up roll through.
Your receptionist greets the caller by your business name, finds out who they are and what they need, and answers your common questions.
The moment the call ends, you get a text with the lead. Your caller gets a warm thank-you from your business.

A couple of things worth knowing

Sayora is inbound only and never makes outbound calls. And your receptionist won't invent a price or a fact you haven't been given; anything you haven't covered gets taken down as a message for you instead.

Question 6

How to forward your calls to Sayora

Accepted Answer

This is the one step that puts your receptionist to work. You forward the calls you don't answer to your Sayora number. You keep answering your own phone as normal; only the calls you miss come through.

First, find your number. Go to Settings, then Call forwarding. Your Sayora number is at the top.

On a mobile (iPhone or Android)

Open your phone app and go to the keypad.
Dial *61* followed by your Sayora number, then #, and press call.
Wait for "forwarding activated".

On a landline (BT, Virgin Media, Sky, TalkTalk and most others)

Dial from the landline you're forwarding.
Enter *61*, your Sayora number, then #.
Hang up once the line confirms.

The code is the same across every UK network. With another provider it's almost always the same code, so message us if yours turns out to be different and we'll help.

What this does

*61* means "divert on no answer". Your own phone rings first, every time. Only if you don't pick up does the call roll through to your receptionist.
