Call recording and your callers' privacy

Sayora is built to handle callers’ information responsibly. Here’s what that means in practice.

Right at the start, before the caller gets into why they’re ringing, your receptionist tells them the call is recorded. The recording and transcript are yours to review on each call in your portal. The audio is deleted from your account automatically 90 days after the call; the transcript stays with your account.

The thank-you text your caller gets is only there to confirm you’ve got their details. It carries no offers, links or marketing, so it stays on the right side of UK messaging rules. If a caller ever asks not to be texted, let us know and we’ll switch it off for them.

Sayora only ever answers calls that come in to you. It never calls your customers. The one call Sayora places is to your own line, when you run the forwarding test.

Your calls, leads, recordings and transcripts are private to your Sayora account. The Sayora team can see them only to support you. Callers hear from your business by text to confirm their details or their booking, and for nothing else.

If you have a specific question about handling your own customers’ data, message us and we’ll help you work it out.
