Lead notifications
Go to Settings, then Lead notifications, to control where new leads reach you.
Send lead texts to
Section titled “Send lead texts to”The UK mobile that receives your lead texts. It’s usually the number you signed up with, but you can point it at a different phone, for example the person on call this week. Landlines can’t receive texts, so it has to be a mobile.
The forwarding test sends its “Test passed” text to this number too, so it’s a quick way to prove the change worked.
Text alerts
Section titled “Text alerts”Lead texts are on for everyone from the start. Turn off Text alerts and the text stops; every lead still lands in your portal Inbox, and email alerts keep working if they’re on.
Email alerts
Section titled “Email alerts”Turn on Email alerts and each new lead is also sent to your account email, with the same name, number and summary. Handy if you’d rather work leads from a desk, or want a copy for someone else in the business.
If no email is set on your account, the switch says so; message us and we’ll add one.
What you’ll get
Section titled “What you’ll get”The preview at the bottom shows the shape of every lead text:
New call from Dave Millar, 07700 900123. Boiler losing pressure, hoping for a visit this week.
