# Adding your common questions

Common questions are the answers your receptionist gives word for word, the ones callers actually ask: your prices, your area, whether you do free quotes, your call-out times.

## Adding and editing them

1. Go to **Settings**, then **Knowledge**. **Common questions** is the first part of the page.
2. Tap **Add a question**, write the question and the answer, and tap **Done**. Done saves it.
3. Tap **Edit** on any answer to change it in place whenever your details change, then **Done** to save it, or **Cancel** to leave it as it was.
4. To take one out, tap **Edit**, then **Remove**. It goes straight away, and **Undo** on the note that appears brings it back if you change your mind.

From your setup list, your questions open on their own with one button, **Looks right**, which ticks the step off.

Your receptionist starts answering with a question the moment it's saved.

## What makes a good one

Keep answers short and specific, the way you'd say them on the phone. Cover the questions you're asked every week first: pricing, areas covered, free quotes, how quickly you can come out, payment methods. Anything you haven't added, your receptionist takes as a message rather than guessing.

## What your receptionist knows from your website

Below your questions on **Knowledge**, **Your website** lists the pages Sayora read on your website, and the day they were read. Your receptionist answers from those too, so you don't need a question for everything your site already says. If your website changes, message us and we'll read it again.

## Starting from a demo

If you built a demo before signing up, the questions your receptionist used in that demo are already here. Read through them once: they came from your website, so they're a good start, but you know your prices better than your website does.
